Sobre Julia
My name is Julia. I’m a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil and a Law student at the University of São Paulo (USP), one of Latin America’s top universities. I’m passionate about languages, education, and Brazilian culture — especially music, literature, and cinema — and I believe learning happens best through genuine connection, consistency, and empathy.
With a strong academic background in writing and language, and experience as a writing tutor in a university prep course, I’m committed to helping students feel confident when using Portuguese, whether for conversation or formal expression. I’ve studied English from a young age and taken part in international programs in England and at Yale University, which deepened my understanding of language as a bridge between cultures.
Now preparing for an academic exchange in Germany, I’m even more excited to share the richness of Brazilian Portuguese and to connect with learners from around the world through meaningful, personalized teaching.

My teaching approach is practical, student-centered, and adapted to each learner’s goals. Whether you’re learning Portuguese for travel, work, conversation, or cultural immersion, I’ll tailor each lesson to your needs, interests, and pace. We can focus on real-life dialogues, everyday vocabulary, grammar in context, or written expression.
I believe that learning should be both structured and enjoyable. I bring a strong command of Portuguese and a genuine interest in communication, so I’ll guide you with patience and attention to detail. My goal is to make you feel supported and encouraged, while gradually building your fluency in meaningful, culturally rich ways.
These lessons are ideal for beginners learners who want to study Brazilian Portuguese with a native speaker in a welcoming, respectful environment.
