Sobre Jiri
I've been a teacher for quite a few years now and I really enjoy getting to know different people and helping them with English. I find teaching online super practical and have developed a great system for my classes. On a personal note, I'm from the Czech Republic, have studied and lived in the UK and the US, but fell in love with Brazil. My goal is to live on a small farm somewhere out in the boonies, in sync with nature.

I’ve been teaching English since arriving in Brazil in 2002, utilizing diverse methodologies. I love teaching conversation classes with a focus on error correction and grammar explanations, though I also enjoy covering the basics with beginners. My approach emphasizes communication and real-world language applications. I've helped students practice for presentations, tackle complex (and not-so-complex) grammar issues, prepare for job interviews, and even overcome their 'gringofobia' before traveling abroad.
