Sobre Débora
# About Me
Hi! I'm Débora, a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil. I'm 26 years old, and my journey with languages began when I decided to learn English on my own at around 13. Since I learned English through self-study, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, staying motivated, and finding methods that truly work.
Today, I'm an English teacher, and I love helping students develop their skills and gain confidence in their communication. My own learning experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and finding strategies that suit each person's needs.
Now, I'm excited to help people from different parts of the world learn Brazilian Portuguese. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves naturally. I believe learning a language should be a meaningful and enjoyable experience, not just about memorizing grammar rules.
Outside teaching, I'm also learning French, which allows me to keep experiencing the challenges and joys of being a language learner myself.
I'd love to be part of your Portuguese-learning journey and help you feel more confident using the language in real-life situations. Let's learn together!

My Brazilian Portuguese lessons are personalized and designed to help you communicate more naturally and confidently in everyday situations. I use techniques such as shadowing, reading, and listening, combined with learning strategies that help improve your attention, memory, and ability to retain new vocabulary and expressions.
During our lessons, we practice real-life conversations, explore texts and audio materials, and work on pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension. My goal is to help you understand how Portuguese works and, most importantly, feel comfortable using it in real conversations.
My teaching approach focuses on active practice and strategic repetition, always respecting your pace and individual needs. I also aim to make learning dynamic and enjoyable by connecting the language to topics and situations that are interesting and relevant to you.
My classes are suitable for students at different levels, from complete beginners who want to build a strong foundation to learners who already understand some Portuguese but struggle to speak, understand native speakers, or express themselves spontaneously.
Each lesson is adapted to your goals, interests, and difficulties, helping you make consistent progress and build confidence one conversation at a time.
