Sobre Germanda
I’m Germanda — a Brazilian educator living in Portugal, passionate about languages, cultural exchange and helping foreigners feel confident communicating in Portuguese.
Before teaching, I spent time travelling and living across different countries, which helped me understand the challenges of adapting to a new culture, learning a new language, and communicating in real-life situations.
Because of this, my classes go beyond grammar: I teach practical Portuguese, cultural context, everyday expressions and what people actually say in daily life.
I’m friendly, patient, and focused on helping my students feel comfortable and supported.
Whether you are learning Portuguese for work, daily life, travel or social integration, I will guide you step by step with clear explanations, structured lessons and a lot of real-world examples.

My lessons are practical, structured and focused on helping you use Portuguese in real-life situations as quickly as possible.
I follow a communicative approach, which means you will speak from the very first class — even if you are a complete beginner. No overwhelming grammar, no complicated explanations. Everything is simple, clear and useful.
Each lesson includes:
• Everyday vocabulary you can use immediately
• Essential phrases and sentence patterns
• Guided conversation practice
• Pronunciation correction
• Grammar explained in a practical, easy way
• Short exercises for reinforcement
• A quick review to check progress
I prepare personalised materials for every student, such as PDFs, dialogues, vocabulary lists, audio recordings, exercises and cultural notes.
You will also receive homework (optional) to help you improve faster.
My goal is always the same:
to help you feel confident speaking Portuguese in daily life — at the café, at work, at the supermarket, with friends, and in any situation where you need to communicate.
Whether you're learning for work, immigration, travel or personal interest, I’ll guide you step by step with patience, structure and real examples from daily life in Portugal.
