Hi, I'm Nishat! I'm originally from India and currently pursuing my PhD in Materials Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.
I've always enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge with others. Coming from a science and research background, I understand how challenging some subjects can feel, especially when concepts aren't explained clearly.
I'm a patient, friendly and approachable person who believes that everyone can learn with the right guidance and encouragement. I enjoy making difficult topics easier to understand and creating a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions.
Outside my research, I enjoy exploring new places, learning new things and meeting people from different backgrounds.
I'm excited to help students improve their skills in Maths, English and Science while making learning a positive and enjoyable experience!

Hi, I'm Nishat! I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Materials Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. I enjoy helping students learn Maths, English and Science in a simple and comfortable way.
I believe learning becomes easier when students understand the concepts rather than just memorising answers. My aim is to make lessons interesting, encourage curiosity and help students feel more confident in their studies.
How I teach:
I start by understanding each student's level, difficulties and learning goals. I then explain topics step by step, using simple language, everyday examples and practice exercises. I encourage students to ask questions freely, even if they feel their doubts are very basic.
My classes usually include a short explanation of the topic, examples, problem-solving activities and time for questions. I also help with homework, revision and exam preparation.
What I teach:
Mathematics: Arithmetic, algebra, geometry and problem-solving.
English: Grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking.
Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and general science.
My lessons are suitable for students from Grades 4 to 10, especially those who find certain subjects difficult or need extra support to improve their understanding.
I can teach in both English and Hindi and adapt my lessons to each student's pace.
My goal is simple: I want students to enjoy learning, feel comfortable making mistakes and become confident enough to solve problems on their own.
