Sobre Honza
Hi there! My name is Honza and I am currently living in Lisbon. I offer private lessons in saxophone, violin, harmony and writing songs in any music genre you are interested in (pop, rock, funk, latin, jazz, classical, blues etc.). I am excited to share my experience in music with you. My lessons are enjoyed by all ages and levels from begginers to future professionals.
I am an easy-going person with interest in making the process of learning an instrument easy, fun and creative for you. I have studied classical music, jazz and improvised music at conservatory and later at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. I am an active professional musician, mostly in improvised music scene.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any more questions! Cheers.

In my lessons, we really concentrate on what interests you. I am openminded teacher; be it jazz, pop, rock or classical music, I will help you to reach your goals in an EFFECTIVE and CREATIVE way. My approach pays attention to the body - finding a personal relaxed space from which we play our instruments. Everything we learn is put in a bigger context and applied directly in learning new and excited music. I can help you find your own expressive voice!
My classes are open to all ages and levels. I enjoy teaching begginers (also kids) as well as future professional players (for instance preparing for conservatory or academy studies).
