Sobre Rosie
I would best describe myself as a friendly and bright teacher who is able to make my students feel relaxed and at ease.
I have worked with a range of children over the years and have always been committed to making a safe space where my students feel supported and nurtured in their learning journey. I believe in being well prepared, punctual and building a connection with my students so that they feel valued and heard.
I have experience working with a range of children with different needs such as: speech and language needs, cognitive developmental delays, dyslexia and ADHD as well as experience working with a children from a range of nationalities who learn English as an extra language.
I am a native English speaker who instructs in English. I can speak a basic level of Portuguese however I do not instruct in this language.

Hello! I love to create engaging and interesting lessons, often using material and resources which are based on my student's interests. I like to use a combination of pictures, written work and conversational practice in order for my students to be able to use their English practically.
I believe learning is a confidence journey and that every child can realise their potential through support and encouragement. I believe in positive praise and feedback, nurturing my student to realise their own strengths! I build positive and strong relationships with all my students in order to create a safe space where they feel they are able to make mistakes and to learn from them.
